The AL-KO 40 E Comfort is a powerful electric lawn mower with quality and comfort fitted as standard.

The 40 E Comfort offers all the features of smaller 34 E Comfort model, but with several added benefits. Featuring a 40cm cutting width and 1400 watt induction motor, the 40 E is suited to slightly larger lawns of up to 500m².

AL-KO 3 in 1 function
The 40 E is Comfort also provided with a mulching plug to finely chop the clippings into the lawn as a natural fertiliser, as well as a grass catcher with fill-level indicator to inform the operator when the grass box is full.

	3 in 1 function AL-KO's 3 in 1 function allows this mower to cut and rear discharge, cut and collect and cut and mulch. For longer grass or where collection is not required, grass can be cut and rear discharged. For shorter grass, there is the option of either traditional grass collection or the increasingly popular method of mulching.
	Mulch if you want Just mount the mulching insert without tools and work the finely chopped clippings into the lawn as a natural fertiliser.
	What is mulching? Mulching cuts the grass into very fine clippings which are then forced back into the lawn, giving a natural nitrogen boost which leaves the lawn looking green and healthy. Mulching also eliminates the need for emptying the grass collector, saving up to one third of the mowing time.
	Adjustable Handles AL-KO Comfort lawn mowers feature adjustable handles ensuring the most comfortable operating position. The convenient safety handlebar is accessible from the top as well as from both sides. The cable strain relief ensures safe operation, keeping the cable out of the way during mowing. The handles are also folding for easy transportation and storage.
	Central Height Adjustment The single leaver cutting height adjustment is fully spring-loaded so the cutting height can be changed with a single hand movement.
	Large Collector The large aerodyamic grass collector is designed to fill to the brim and require less emptying. Thanks to the integrated lip on the collector, it can be easily mounted to the mower.

All machines come with a two year warranty, following this machines have an extended warranty depending on the range and annual servicing by an authorised AL-KO dealer.
