Designed for small and medium-sized plots, this machine very effectively combines professional-level reliability and performance with extreme ease of handling, making it perfect for demanding home users and smallholders.
The Bertolini 405 S rear tine tiller is powered by a punchy 196cc Honda GX 200 OHV petrol four-stroke engine with easy-pull recoil start mechanism. The oil-immersed transmission confers impressive long term dependability.
Forward and reverse gears offer enhanced manoeuvrability around the plot. The practical forward/reverse shuttle enables the operator to change quickly into reverse gear from any speed, making the machine easy to handle, even with the rotor or other optional accessories mounted.
The machine is equipped with a 60cm wide rotavator fitted with 16 spikes which provide a tilling depth up to 14cm. The working depth is adjustable, whilst the width can be reduced to 40cm with optional kit 69210259.
The handlebars feature vertical and horizontal adjustment and are 180° reversible, with a vibration-damping device to ensure more comfortable handling. The ergonomic handling system (EHS) ensures ease of use and reduced effort.
Thanks to Bertolini's QuickFit coupling, it is simple and fast to fit any of the optional attachments available without the use of tools. The full range of accessories, including rotors, cutterbars, brushes and snowthrowers are designed to meet the requirements of users seeking a multi-function machine that is both practical and safe.
