Billy Goat Lawn Scarifiers, Plugr® Aerators and Overseeders

Powered by a Honda GX270 engine, the OS901SPH overseeder features self-propulsion which reduces the fatigue associated with pushing and features Billy Goat® Controls, the Common Experience™, which provides standardised variable speed intuitive hydro-drive controls allowing the opertor to feather in forward / reverse directly at the handles with no shifting reqired.

The unique blade design of the OS901SPH reduces thatch pick-up and improves blade life thanks to its sharpened leading edge and attack angle combined with a new foot-actuated height adjustment that raises and lowers the reel effortlessly, providing more blade depth.

The overseeder has a 56cm (22") working width and exclusive 11-blade slicing reel that floats along the contours of the turf increasing seed to soil contact and improving germination rates. Infinite depth adjustment of the slider blades promotes longer blade life versus presets. The seed settings are found on board for operator convenience.

The machine is supplied with a 13.6kg capacity seed box which is generously elevated above the turf to eliminate any clogging which may occur from moisture in Billy Goat's exclusive Auto-Drop system.

The EZ Lift n Drop™ tine system has a one-step tine engagement lever from the handle that quickly engages the six tines when the lever is depressed or disengages tines when the lever is released to pass over obstacles in the aeration path for uninterrupted aeration. It also features "in-ground" steering for unmatched maneuverability, ergonomics, ease of turning, improved production, reduced downtime and turf repair when compared to drum aerators.

This Billy Goat Plugr PL2501SPV self-propelled aerator is powered by a 203cc Vanguard® engine.

The Plugr PL2501SPH self-propelled hydro-drive aerator from Billy Goat delivers an impressive 4,000 square metres of aeration per hour at an impressive rate of 2.62mph or 3.846 feet per second. The machine is equipped with six reciprocating cam-driven tines which punch core depths to 2.75", even in hard soil.

The tines propel the unit forward with variable three-speed control from 2.5 - 3mph, which allows for a denser hole pattern at a slower speed where needed, ideal for flatter conditions.  The proprietary EZ Drop™ tine system has a one-step tine engagement lever from the handle that permits the operator to pass over obstacles in the aeration path for uninterrupted aeration.

The aerator is powered by a 163cc Honda GX160 engine and is easy to manoeuvre without lifting, requires no add on weights, has no chains and is simple to service.

A built-in quick release receiver hitch offers simple conversion to a ride-behind unit when adding an optional chariot. This useful accessory reduces operator fatigue and increases productivity.

The Billy Goat AE1300HEU hydro aerator combines true 76cm (30") wide aeration with a speed up to 6.9km/h (4.3mph) to complete a 1,600 square metre area in as little as minutes! That is 59 per cent quicker than a 66cm (26" drum). Other benefits are no more lifting on turns, aerate in reverse, trim and edges with ease and significantly improve hole quantity and quality when compared to a drum aerator. This machine is powered by a Honda GX390 390cc engine.

The AE1300HEU features variable aeration density (VAD™) and creates 2-10 times more holes than drum models in one pass (8-48 holes per square foot.) This eliminates double or triple aerating with drum aerators that have fixed hole patterns as low as 4 per square foot and saves significant time. VAD also provides the ability to do patch repair and seed bed prep in one pass by simply slowing down over bare spots.

FLEXTECH™ arms act independently and are durable and forgiving for unmatched reliability. The arm's reciprocating action drives plug depths up to two times that of drums. Call backs and/or rework regardless of soil conditions are significantly reduced. "In-Ground Turning" offers unrivaled manoeuverability, fatigue-free operation and improved production plus reduces downtime and turf repair when compared to drum aerators. With only eight tines and four bolts, tine service on this unit takes 10 per cent of the time needed to service 40+, 2-bolt drum units.
