The HYBC5200X is a powerful petrol grass trimmer / brush cutter from Hyundai. Its dual cutting capability makes cutting or trimming all types of grass, brambles, shrubs and overgrowth easy thanks to its powerful 52cc 2-stroke Euro V Hyundai low emission petrol engine.

This really is a very powerful brush cutter and the high mid-range torque means you don't have to be revving it at maximum speed when in use.

The machine is supplied with a high quality bump feed, two-string nylon cutting head for use as a grass trimmer and three-tooth metal cutting blade for use as a brush cutter. A wide cutting width from 255mm to 450mm allows you to cut through large areas quickly.

The nylon trimmer head has been chosen for its ease of replacing the nylon cord. The cord is 2.5mm diameter and can be changed easily.

The twin shoulder harness enables you to use this unit for long periods of time without strain on your back, shoulders or arms. The straight, split shaft allows you to split the unit in half, allowing for easy transportation and compact storage. The soft-grip ‘cow horn’ style handlebars are adjustable and offset to place the cutting head at the centre of the user’s body for an optimal cutting position and a clean, sweeping action when cutting long grass.

The trigger is mounted on the handle, allowing easy and precise, fingertip control of the unit. 

Switching between the metal brush cutter blade and the dual nylon line head is easy, and the shaft simply locks into place. With minimal set-up required, simply mix and add the recommended fuel mix using the provided mixing jug, (40:1 unleaded petrol to semi-synthetic two-stroke oil or one litre of petrol mixed with 25ml of oil) fill as required, and you will be ready to tackle your garden. The bump feed allows you to simply ‘tap and go’ if you need to release more nylon string.

The HYBC5080AV is a powerful, heavy-duty straight/split shaft brush cutter and grass trimmer, powered by a Hyundai 50.8cc 2-stroke high torque, low emissions, recoil start petrol engine.

The new 50.8cc engine has tremendous mid range torque so the machine does not have to be operated at maximum revs when cutting through heavy undergrowth. This makes for a more pleasant, quieter user experience and reduces fuel consumption, whilst promoting long engine life.

The on/off switch, throttle control and safety trigger are mounted on the right hand grip, providing easy, precise and safe control.

Ideal for cutting through tough weeds, brambles, dense scrub and overgrown grass in both domestic and professional settings The Hyundai HYBC5080AV has a large 450mm cutting width from the nylon trimmer head and 255mm from either of the two steel cutter blades.

The brush cutter is supplied with a high quality bump feed two-string nylon cutting head for use as a grass trimmer and two metal cutting blades for use as a brush cutter, with three and eight teeth. The three-tooth blade would be used for brambles, etc, and the eight-tooth blade for thicker wood like growth where a sawing action is required. 

The nylon string is best used on grass and next to hard obstacles, with the cutting blades ideally used on thicker weeds, brambles and scrub. The nylon trimmer head we use has been chosen for its ease of replacing the nylon cord. The cord is 2.5mm diameter and can be changed with ease.

Equipped with a fully enclosed anti-vibration system and ‘bike’ or ‘cow horn’ handles angled relative to the shaft reduces stress and fatigue on the operator's arms and back, which is essential for extended periods of use.

The low weight of just 9.68kg, makes it easy to use with the high quality, fully padded ergonomic harness which spreads the load improving comfort and efficiency for the user allowing for easy transportation with the folding handles and split shaft. The full harness can be attached to the machine with the multi-position, quick-release connector allowing you to set it up so the balance is perfect for you.
