The latest SGR-33 features an almost total redesign following feedback and suggestions from Rock Machinery's domestic and commercial customers who have purchased the original stump grinder. The SGR-33 maintains the essence of the simple, compact and robust design but on a larger, heavier scale.

The first major upgrade is the teeth and rotor. The SGR-33 features "round-style" teeth and a larger 33cm rotor. The teeth are widely spaced, can be turned for a new cutting side and increased longevity, and can be easily removed and replaced. With the increased rotor size you can grind to approximately 14" below ground level, depending on the ground. The underneath of the stump grinder has been redesigned with improved channels so debris will exit from the side rather than back towards the operator.
