The HY2190 is a lightweight cordless chainsaw from Hyundai, forming part of its extensive 20V MAX range of power tools and garden machinery. This chainsaw has a brushless motor, enabling the motor to run for longer with more efficiency than brushed motors. Powered by a 20V MAX lithium-ion 4 Amp-hour battery, this is the ideal chainsaw for smaller woodcutting tasks including felling small trees and chopping logs for wood burners.

The 254mm (10") Oregon chainsaw bar has a fast 10m/s chain speed to provide excellent cutting power in a small package, perfect for a range of tasks around the garden.

At just 3.26kg, this cordless chainsaw is comfortable to hold and also features an ergonomic soft grip rear handle, which helps reduce vibrations and further increases comfort when using the chainsaw over longer periods of time.

To increase this cordless saw’s lifespan, it features an automatic chain lubrication system that automatically releases the chainsaw lubricant oil onto the chain, which minimises wear and tear to the chain and any damage to the starter mechanism.

To make using this battery chainsaw as simple as possible, the HY2190 features tool-free chain tensioning, allowing you to get the very best performance out of your chainsaw and minimising any interruption to your chopping. Before starting it for the first time, all you need to do is add chain lubrication oil (not included - sold separately). Note that we recommend using a high-quality chain lubrication oil, consult the comprehensive user manual for more information.

It’s quick and easy to assemble out of the box, allowing you to get it in your garden for the first cut in no time at all. With no engine to service, you also don’t need to spend time checking air filters or spark plugs, making it extremely easy to maintain.

Under optimum conditions, this cordless chainsaw has an average battery life of 52 minutes, but this is dependent on a range of factors such as the type of wood being cut and the condition or age of the battery and machine.

This unit includes a 20V MAX battery - which has an indicator light to show you how much battery is remaining - and a charger.
