The Mitox 270CSX is the smallest chainsaw in the Premium range offering a high quality product for the domestic user with its extra high power output and durable design. The chainsaw features a quality 30cm (12") Oregon guide bar and chain, ideal for general logging around the home, with built-in side tensioner neatly located between the chain cover bolts.
The 270CSX has a high performance Euro 5 25cc engine which is easy to start thanks to the spring damper recoil assist system and produces an impressive power output of 0.9kW of power for effective cutting.
Comfort during operation is enhanced via the anti-vibration front and rear handles. Large durable triggers make the machine easier than ever to use and its integrated soft grip is comfortable and practical. The extra wide rear handle base provides protection for the rear hand and also houses an integrated tool for spark plug and chain cover removal. Maintenance access is quick and easy as the cover can be removed without tools. A lighweight magnesium crankcase has numerous benefits including better heat dissipation properties than traditional aluminium.
Safety when using a chainsaw is paramount, and the 270CSX features a twin-mounted chain brake system, with manual and inertia engagement. The rear-mounted fuel tank has an integrated window so you can clearly see the fuel level in use.
