Cobra SG15L Stump Grinder
The Cobra SG15L is a very powerful stump grinder powered by a Loncin 420cc 15hp 4-stroke engine with overhead valve technology and low oil level protection, capable of removing the toughest and most awkward tree stumps, providing excellent results with minimal effort.
The power is delivered to the stump cutting wheel via a centrifugal clutch and twin poly-V belts which are easily adjusted by loosening the engine bolts and rotating the belt adjuster. Built to make touch tree stump clearing faster and less demanding, the grinder can tackle tree stumps and root systems up to 90cm in diameter, from 600mm above the ground to 235mm below ground. The cutting wheel is equipped with 9 replaceable teeth, tipped with mining-grade tungsten carbide which is 10 times harder than steel and pulverises any type of wood into chips within seconds.
The SG15L features a left wheel handbrake and engine throttle that are controlled conveniently from the handlebars for maximum comfort and control. The cutting area is well covered to protect the operator against flying wood chips.
Weighing 104kg, the Cobra stump grinder is easy to manoeuvre due to its large adjustable handlebars and heavy-duty pneumatic tyres which allow you to cover rough ground. There is an emergency stop button on the handle and also a 'deadman' stop feature which has a stretch cable clipped to your belt, when you step away from the machine the kill switch is activated.
