Cobra Fortis 20" Verticut Cartridge

This verticutter is designed to 'vertically' cut the lawn, which increases turf density and is important for gardening perfectionists and those wishing to develop fine turf, such as on bowling and golf greens. 

The thin, closely spaced, hardened steel tines are backwards inclined and remove lateral growth and moss to allow the lawn a healthier growth pattern. The 20" verticut cassette is ideal for controlling thatch by removing the dead and dying grass which would otherwise contribute to the layer of thatch. It also provides a useful method of controlling weeds and coarse weed grasses that lie flat in the sward. The cartridge will promote the growth of upright grass which will be easier and cleaner to cut with either a six or 10 blade cartridge.

Designed to fit the Cobra Fortis 20B cylinder mower for use between April and October, the box includes an allen key for the minor tooling required to switch over the cartridges.

NB: This cartridge is designed to fit the Cobra Fortis range and is NOT compatible with any other brand of cylinder mower.

The cutting blade cassette can be simply removed and replaced by one of the following lawn care cartridge attachments:-
