The Cobra SA40E lawn scarifier / raker will bring an end to hours of raking, forking and scraping to give you a lawn to be proud of year after year.

Equipped with a high power 1800W motor which drives the 40cm working width, the Cobra SA40E is ideal for the fast removal of unwanted moss, thatch, weeds and other debris. Using the SA40E just once a month will result in more room for your grass to grow, improving water, nutrient and oxygen penetration for better quality, stronger roots.

The Cobra S40E is equipped with an interchangeable 2-in-1 blade and spring tine drum with working depth of -12mm - +8mm, which is height adjustable through four settings via a single lever.

Debris is collected in a large, robust plastic 40 litre box. The side vents enable a strong free flow of air resulting in more compact and comprehensive collection. The ergonomically-positioned operator controls are designed for comfortable and safe use.

A combined lawn scarifier and aerator in one machine, the Cobra SA40E comes with a 10 metre power cable and offers the ultimate flexibility and superb value for money.

IMPORTANT!

COBRA SA40E CARTRIDGE REMOVAL BEFORE FIRST USE

Please be aware that it is vital to detatch the scarifier from the underneath of the machine prior to starting for its first use as failure to do so will result in the drive belt snapping. The cartridge is attached with two cable ties purely for transportation purposes.

There are warnings on the packaging, and the operator's manual details how to remove the cartridge, but Cobra are still experiencing machines being returned with this issue.

Failure to follow these warnings will damage the scarifier and will void the warranty.

	Removes thatch and moss effortlessly The Cobra SA40E lawn scarifier comes with both a 15" scarifying drum and a bladed aerator. These can be easily swapped depending on the job in hand. Scarifying is a process perhaps best described as a mechanical raking of the lawn, its primary purpose is to remove thatch and moss although it has associated benefits as well. The Cobra scarifying drum has a series of sharp tines that rotate at high speed and cut into the turf in a vertical manner.
	Aerate your lawn with the Cobra SA40E Produce a stronger, more vigorous lawn. As well as the scarifying drum, the Cobra SA40E comes complete with a bladed aerator that has 14 high quality steel blades. The main reason for aerating is to alleviate soil compaction. Compacted soils have too many solid particles in a certain volume or space, which prevents proper circulation of air, water and nutrients within the soil. The Cobra SA40E scarifier is the perfect machine for breaking down compacted soil and producing a healthier, more vibrant lawn.
