The Cobra MX484SPCE petrol rotary lawn mower boasts premium features not usually included on a model in this price range, in particular electric start and variable speed transmission.
Powering the robust 48cm (19") steel cutter deck is a reliable 173cc Cobra Y173V engine which starts easily at the push of a button, eliminating the effort of pulling the recoil starter. The mower is self-propelled with four-speed gearbox which allows you to set the pace and enables you to tackle larger areas of ground and thicker patches of grass with minimal effort. Combined with the extra large rear wheels, you'll be in total control of the mower on slopes and other types of terrain, and the mower is highly manoeuvrable, allowing you to cut safely around obstacles in the lawn.
The 4-in-1 Cobra MX484SPCE comes equipped with a mulch plug to enable you to mulch your grass clippings back into the lawn. As the clippings decompose, nutrients and fertilisers are returned to the soil meaning you can cut the grass and fertilise at the same time.
If you don't want to collect your grass cuttings or your lawn has become overgrown, the mower comes equipped with a side discharge function. Simply lift the side blanking plate and insert the side discharge chute. The grass will now be discharged in neat lines to the side of where you are mowing.
The grass collector is made from a durable, high quality fabric which enables a free flow of air to provide compact and efficient collection. The large 65 litre capacity bag will mean more time mowing and fewer stops to empty.
The Cobra MX484SPCE has six adjustable cutting heights ranging from 25mm to 75mm which means you can mow to suit the conditions, whether it is a light trim during the summer months or the first cut of the year. This is achieved by simply using the single height of cut adjustment lever.
Weighing 44kg, the Cobra MX484SPCE has a folding handlebar so it is more convenient to store or transport.
Optional swing tip blades are available (see related items below). The engine also has manual recoil start for emergency use.

The Cobra MM48SPH is a quality, dedicated mulching lawn mower featuring a generous 48cm (19") steel deck with six stage height of cut adjustment.
A self-propelled machine, the Cobra MM48SPH petrol lawn mower is equipped with a 167cc Honda GCVX170 engine. The height of cut can be adjusted from as low as 25mm up to 75mm using the single lever height of cut adjustment lever located on the rear right hand wheel, so you can achieve a fine, close finish or tackle longer grass.
This mulching mower effectively recycles the grass by finely cutting and recutting the clippings and distributing them evenly over the lawn surface. As the clippings decompose, valuable nutrients and fertilisers are returned to the soil to promote a healthy lawn.
The Cobra MM48SPH is fitted with a front bumper bar to protect against knocks and a convenient carry handle to aid transportation. The handlebar folds easily for more compact storage.
