The Cobra SA40E lawn scarifier / raker will bring an end to hours of raking, forking and scraping to give you a lawn to be proud of year after year.

Equipped with a high power 1800W motor which drives the 40cm working width, the Cobra SA40E is ideal for the fast removal of unwanted moss, thatch, weeds and other debris. The Cobra S40E is equipped with an interchangeable 2-in-1 blade and spring tine drum with working depth of -12mm - +8mm, which is height adjustable through four settings via a single lever.

Debris is collected in a large, robust plastic 40 litre box. The side vents enable a strong free flow of air resulting in more compact and comprehensive collection. The ergonomically-positioned operator controls are designed for comfortable and safe use.

COBRA SA40E CARTRIDGE REMOVAL BEFORE FIRST USE

Please be aware that it is vital to detatch the scarifier from the underneath of the machine prior to starting for its first use as failure to do so will result in the drive belt snapping. The cartridge is attached with two cable ties purely for transportation purposes.

There are warnings on the packaging, and the operator's manual details how to remove the cartridge, but Cobra are still experiencing machines being returned with this issue.

Failure to follow these warnings will damage the scarifier and will void the warranty.

You can easily revive an ailing, spongy lawn by removing all the strangulating moss and thatch with the Cobra S40C 2-in-1 lawn scarifier and aerator.

The competitively-priced S40C is a push-type machine powered by a 212cc four-stroke OHV Cobra engine and featuring a generous 40cm (16") working width.

The interchangeable system gives you the choice of either inserting a sprung claw or bladed cartridge. The spring tine cassette is fitted with 24 tines with angled tips for more effective raking of thatch and dead grass. The bladed cassette has 18 rigid steel blades that have been specially designed to remove moss, thatch and flat-growing weeds, scratching the soil to allow nutrients and moisture to be more easily absorbed and your lawn to breathe again.

The working depth can be easily adjusted between -15mm - +5mm using a dial mounted within easy reach on the deck. A generous 45 litre debris catcher means there is no need to rake-up when you've finished.

The Cobra S40C features a height adjustable handle which is padded for comfort and folds for more compact storage. The machine is backed by a two year manufacturer's warranty for domestic use.
