Masport MC900 Premium Petrol Chipper
Designed, engineered and tested in New Zealand, the Masport MC900 premium wood chipper is the perfect solution for processing your garden waste, transforming it into valuable wood chippings which can be used around your plants, to make compost or even a pathway.
The large self-feeding hopper safely lets branches up to 70mm pass through the machine with ease through the single lever blade engatement. The powerful 6.5hp Briggs & Stratton XR950 engine, combined with the three-blade special tool-steel cutting blades, quickly turns branches into easy-to-manage mulch. Three fan blades on the flywheel produce powerful airflow that effortlessly discharges the mulch.
The 1270mm high discharge outlet allows for the mulched material to be guided directly into a trailer, wheelie bin or garden bed.
Thanks to its well-balanced design, conveniently positioned handle on the chute and large, heavy-duty 295mm wheels, the Masport MC900 wood chipper is highly manoeuvrable between work sites. Safety is ensured by the lockout mechanism which safely immobilises the cutting disk while changing the blades.

Here at The Green Reaper, we supply a variety of robust and reliable petrol shredders, including models designed for domestic and semi-professional use. These powerful machines can shred hedge trimmings, leaves and general green garden debris, reducing them to more manageable amounts ready for composting, and making them ideal for clearance tasks, regular pruning and maintenance jobs.
Petrol shredders are ideally suited to processing of smaller debris, and use a blunt flail system to mash leaves, twigs and small branches into finely chopped material. Chippers are more powerful, and use strong steel blades to tear up your waste, making them ideal for disposing of larger branches and hardier bits of debris.
In a combination chipper-shredder, branches are fed into a chute and are cut into chips by one or more steel chipper blades, while smaller twigs and are fed into a hopper, or bucket, at the top of the machine and are shredded with flails. Many of our combination chipper/shredders have the option of discharge screens to allow wet debris to escape and alleviate clogging, and collection bags to aid in waste disposal after the job is complete.
