The HYCH1400 is a compact wood chipper from Hyundai, powered by a 402cc / 14hp OHV four-stroke unleaded petrol Hyundai engine. The HYCH1400 is capable of chipping / shredding wood, twigs, trimmings and branches efficiently and effectively.

Masport 6.5XL Petrol Chipper/Shredder
Expertly designed and engineered in New Zealand, the Masport 6.5XL petrol chipper shredder is ideal for the successful recycling of organic garden waste.
Powered by a beefy 6.5hp Briggs & Stratton OHV IC four-stroke engine, smooth power is transferred using a belt system to protect the crankshaft. The drive system is run by a V-belt rather than a direct drive system. This design is more tolerant to impact and unnecessary overload on the drive system and engine.
The Masport chipper shredder operates in two ways, reducing the waste material to at least 20 per cent of its original volume:-
- Wood chipping - branches up to 65mm in diameter can be fed through the chipper side chute, creating a fine mulch which is perfect for composting.
- Shredding - nine horizontally-arranged flail blades reduce garden foliage to a fine mulch

Petrol shredders are ideally suited to processing of smaller debris, and use a blunt flail system to mash leaves, twigs and small branches into finely chopped material. Chippers are more powerful, and use strong steel blades to tear up your waste, making them ideal for disposing of larger branches and hardier bits of debris.
In a combination chipper-shredder, branches are fed into a chute and are cut into chips by one or more steel chipper blades, while smaller twigs and are fed into a hopper, or bucket, at the top of the machine and are shredded with flails. Many of our combination chipper/shredders have the option of discharge screens to allow wet debris to escape and alleviate clogging, and collection bags to aid in waste disposal after the job is complete.
