This powerful garden leaf blower and garden vacuum shredder is for serious caretakers, landscapers and home users alike.

Powered by a 25.4cc commercial grade two-stroke engine, this Shred 'n' Vac garden blower generates a maximum airflow of 81.7m/sec whilst maintaining power and durability with fewer emissions than a standard two-stroke. The design features a new "Rotational Control" feature that reduces the stress on the users hand, wrist and forearm by providing a neutral balance compared to other handheld garden blowers.

The Echo ES-250ES garden leaf blower and vacuum shredder features the Echo Easy Start system for effortless first pull starting, the grouped throttle, cruise control and stop functions are conveniently located on the top handle providing an easier, more comfortable operation. The exhaust port is located at the front of the blower, dissipating the heat away from the operator. The larger air intake and fan have been designed for improved efficiency with lower noise; the heavy duty air filter keeps dirt and debris away from vital engine components and maintains performance.

The ES-250ES garden leaf blower can easily be converted to a powerful garden vacuum shredder with the accessory PBAV-255 supplied with this machine as standard, featuring the new EZ locking system for hassle free, fast conversion. The hardened steel triple edged shredder blades are designed to provide long service and will efficiently reduce the collected volume by a 12:1 ratio, in ideal cases the material can then be composted for use later on borders and vegetable patches.

The i-start device makes first time starting of two-stroke engines a certainty, while removing 90% of the effort required. i-start stores the energy of one long and gentle pull, or two short pulls of the recoil starter and delivers it in a dynamic burst that starts the engine every time.

Denoted by the ES symbol on the power tool, Easy Start works in a different way to i-start to minimise the effort required to start the engine. With Easy Start the pulling power needed on the starter rope is greatly reduced compared to other makes, with no kick-back effect when cranking.
