Description

The PB-580 is the mid-sized backpack power blower in the Echo range and features a host of professional features normally associated with larger machines. Many of the features reduce fatigue and enhance user comfort thereby increasing productivity, such as a ventilated backpack pad, anti-vibration springs and padded shoulder straps.

With a dry weight of 10.3kg, the 58.2cc engine has an output of 2.05kW, which gives the machine a superb power-to-weight ratio. The Echo PB-580 produces 96.4m/sec air speed and air volume of 882m³/h.

The leaf guard keeps debris out of the fan intake, whilst the 'L'-style frame prevents the blower toppling over when placed on the ground.

The i-start device makes first time starting of two-stroke engines a certainty, while removing 90% of the effort required. i-start stores the energy of one long and gentle pull, or two short pulls of the recoil starter and delivers it in a dynamic burst that starts the engine every time.

ECHO Innovation - Easy Start
Denoted by the ES symbol on the power tool, Easy Start works in a different way to i-start to minimise the effort required to start the engine. With Easy Start the pulling power needed on the starter rope is greatly reduced compared to other makes, with no kick-back effect when cranking.
