The Echo Easy Start system is a culmination of years of unique and innovative developments. It works to minimise the effort required to start the engine with greatly reduced pulling power and vastly reduced kick back effect. In most cases the effort required to pull the starter is reduced by up to 50% compared to standard models, with no kick-back effect in cranking.

The cover design incorporates a 'one touch' tool-free air filter cover to encourage frequent cleaning in dusty conditions and maintain peak performance. The Echo SRM-520ES/U brush cutter has a 'U' handle design providing optimum ergonomics. It also comes with a newly designed harness for quick hook-up and release to the machine.
