Description

The EGO Power+ HT2001E cordless hedge trimmer is ideal for maintaining and shaping narrow, small-to-medium sized hedges with thick stems widths.

The machine is equipped a 51cm long dual-action blade capable of cutting branches up to 25mm thick. Cutting at a single speed, this hedge cutter's double-sided, laser cut, diamond ground blades easily slice through unruly stems. The blade tip protector will prevent damage to any fence panels or brickwork if you get too close, so you can be confident of finessing your work around the entire hedge.

The HT2001E can be used in conjunction with any of the batteries in the EGO Power+ 56V cordless range - the starting run time for the hedge trimmer fitted with a 2.5Ah battery is up to 75 minutes.

The hedge trimmer is lightweight, at just 2.9kg without the battery. Backed up by EGO's high-efficiency brushless motor, you can expect a smoother experience and more comfortable operation due to low vibrations.

This is the most powerful rechargeable tool of its kind, performing as well as, or better than premium petrol-powered models. It runs on the industry’s most powerful battery, the first ever 56 volt lithium-ion battery with 40% more power than the leading 40 volt battery which delivers the performance of petrol without the noise, fuss and fumes.

NB: This kit INCLUDES a 2.5Ah battery and standard battery charger. Also available as a bare tool EGHT2000E.

EGO’s commitment to innovation is driven by a talented team of highly qualified technicians responsible for developing and delivering clean, reliable power tools for today’s switched-on customers. In 2004 EGO installed a 7,000m2 Green Roof system to their dedicated R&D facility. This has saved the equivalent of 5 litres of petrol per m2 each year. The roof of the Green Power Industrial Park features a 2-megawatt photovoltaic power station.

Known as ‘The Blue Roof’, the power this generates, year-on-year, saves the equivalent of 755 tonnes of coal, as well as cutting Sulphur Dioxide emissions by 50 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 1,677 tonnes annually. The Green Power Industrial Park also utilises the latest in ground-source heating, air-conditioning and water-storage technologies. The ground-source heating system alone saves a massive 1 million KWh of electricity annually, the equivalent of 378 tonnes of coal. This cuts Sulphur Dioxide emissions by around 25 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 839 tonnes each year.
