Leave petrol in the past and enjoy cleaner, quieter and safer mowing with the LM2230E-SP, which takes you to the peak of the Professional range from cordless specialists EGO Power+. Equipped with a wide 55cm cutting capacity, this 56V battery-powered lawn mower is ideal for precision mowing of sizeable gardens and larger spaces.

Self-propelled with variable cutting speed, the EGO LM2230E-SP features a single battery port compatible with all EGO portable batteries and is designed for larger and sloping lawns. A 10.0Ah battery (not provided with this bare tool) will allow you to mow up to 2000 square metres on a single charge. The rapid charger (not provided) will get you back on the move in 60 minutes, which is the fastest recharge time on the market.

The lawn mower is equipped with a high torque, high efficiency brushless motor for operation in all conditions, with push button start to power up in seconds. The self-propelled Touch Drive™ technology puts simple operation and control in the palm of your hands, as well as taking the strain out of mowing sloping ground. Easily control the variable speed with a dial positioned at your fingertips.

The composite deck made from PC PBT material provides a lightweight, robust and stable solution to your mowing needs. Less pressure on the lawn means less chance of damage during use, plus there is less stress and strain on the operator making the mower ideal for prolonged use. Large diameter wheels allow easy motion on different terrains.

The EGO Power+ LM2230E-SP features a centrally-adjustable, spring-loaded deck height adjustment so you can set eight different grass cutting heights, as low as 25mm all the way up to 100mm. Boasting three mowing modes allowing you to choose your desired finish, whether to collect the grass clippings into the extra-large 80 litre mesh with anti-duct grass bag, rear discharge or mulch by fitting the optional mulch plug. The Select Cut™ interchangeable multi-blade cutting system is optimised for collection and mulching, whilst the bag full indicator lets you know when the grass collector needs empyting.

For optimum user comfort, the quick release, aluminium telescopic handlebar has three adjustable heights. Bright LED headlights help you to work further into the day. When the mowing is done, the handles fold down and the machine benefits from a vertical storage feature making storing and cleaning the mower even more convenient.

The EGO Power+ LM2230E-SP lawn mower, with its revolutional Arc lithium battery, has the power to outperform petrol performance without the noise, fuss and fumes and is backed by an impressive five year warranty for domestic use.

EGO’s commitment to innovation is driven by a talented team of highly qualified technicians responsible for developing and delivering clean, reliable power tools for today’s switched-on customers. In 2004 EGO installed a 7,000m2 Green Roof system to their dedicated R&D facility. This has saved the equivalent of 5 litres of petrol per m2 each year. The roof of the Green Power Industrial Park features a 2-megawatt photovoltaic power station.

Known as ‘The Blue Roof’, the power this generates, year-on-year, saves the equivalent of 755 tonnes of coal, as well as cutting Sulphur Dioxide emissions by 50 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 1,677 tonnes annually. The Green Power Industrial Park also utilises the latest in ground-source heating, air-conditioning and water-storage technologies. The ground-source heating system alone saves a massive 1 million KWh of electricity annually, the equivalent of 378 tonnes of coal. This cuts Sulphur Dioxide emissions by around 25 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 839 tonnes each year.
