Description

Boasting the power to outperform petrol with less noise and vibration, zero emissions and lower running costs, the EGO Power+ ST1530E line trimmer employs a powerful 56 volt lithium-ion battery. It is equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor which, with its lightweight, compact design, delivers longer run time, low vibrations and extended motor life.

The EGO Power+ ST1530E features a soft-start function and constant speed control to ensure constistent trimming. The quick adjust loop handle, combined with the rear mounted brushless motor, offer optimum balance and control. The large 38cm cutting width will cut reduce any cutting task down to size.

At the sharp end of the machine is a 38cm (15") cutting head fitted with dual-feed, spiral twist line with a 2.4mm diameter, for professional cutting power and a bump head trimming system. The exposed part of the bump feed cap is free to rotate independently which means that the cutting head can be rested on the ground during use without being worn away.

What is special about this model is the rapid reload head which enables quick line replacement with perfect winding every time to eradicate the nuisance of poorly feeding line. The twin line easily and quickly slots into the contoured eyelet which reduces nuisance breakage of the tough nylon line.

The cutter head has an extending bar which protects flowers and plants from the dual nylon line.

Lightweight at 4.2kg without the battery, the EGO Power+ ST1530E is supplied with a basic over-the-shoulder harness and is backed by an industry-leading five year manufacturer's warranty.

EGO’s commitment to innovation is driven by a talented team of highly qualified technicians responsible for developing and delivering clean, reliable power tools for today’s switched-on customers. In 2004 EGO installed a 7,000m2 Green Roof system to their dedicated R&D facility. This has saved the equivalent of 5 litres of petrol per m2 each year. The roof of the Green Power Industrial Park features a 2-megawatt photovoltaic power station.

Known as ‘The Blue Roof’, the power this generates, year-on-year, saves the equivalent of 755 tonnes of coal, as well as cutting Sulphur Dioxide emissions by 50 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 1,677 tonnes annually. The Green Power Industrial Park also utilises the latest in ground-source heating, air-conditioning and water-storage technologies. The ground-source heating system alone saves a massive 1 million KWh of electricity annually, the equivalent of 378 tonnes of coal. This cuts Sulphur Dioxide emissions by around 25 tonnes and Carbon Dioxide emissions by 839 tonnes each year.

EGO Power+ offers professional users a three year warranty on the Professional-X range, and a two year warranty on the Professional range when tools are registered within 30 days of purchase.
