The HY2182 is a compact cordless jig saw from Hyundai’s brand new 20V MAX range, designed for cutting wood, metal and plastic at a variety of different angles.

This Hyundai jig saw is able to cut through up to 80mm of wood, 12mm of plastic and 10mm of steel, making it suitable for a huge range of DIY projects.

Featuring a four-stage pendulum for enhanced control and performance, you can also adjust this jig saw’s orbital settings for different tasks – the higher the setting, the more power the machine will deliver. Its higher settings are fantastic for quickly cutting through tough materials or for achieving straight cuts, and its lower orbital settings are perfect for curved cuts through steel, plastic and wood.

This jig saw’s footplate can be adjusted up to 47° both to the left and right to perform a wide variety of angled cuts, making it suitable for cutting on awkward or uneven surfaces. This jig saw also features tool-free base adjustment, allowing you to easily change the bevel setting for quick and precise cuts at every angle. With a tool-free blade clamp, you can also easily replace the jigsaw blade without interrupting the task at hand.

This Hyundai cordless jig saw features an in-built LED light for easy visibility even in low light areas, a laser guide for cutting precise, straight lines, as well as a soft-grip handle for added comfort.

Weighing just 2.05kg, this jig saw is lightweight and compact and can easily be operated one-handed, reducing any muscle strain when working at awkward angles. Its pressure-sensitive trigger also gives you complete fingertip control over the speed of the jig saw.

This eco-friendly cordless jig saw is powered by a 20V MAX lithium-ion 2Ah battery which charges from flat to full in just 70 minutes.

With an average battery runtime of 15-40 minutes (depending on working conditions), you’ll have more than enough time to complete a range of tasks from just one charge. However, if you’re using the driver for larger home projects or for your business, you have the option to purchase an additional battery - or shop other tools from Hyundai's 20V collection - to save you waiting between charges.

This unit includes a 20V MAX battery - which has an indicator light to show you how much battery is remaining - and a charger.
