The HY2188 is a battery-powered cordless hedge trimmer from Hyundai, ideal for pruning bushes, trimming hedges and cutting small branches and twigs around your garden.

This hedge cutter’s lightweight design means it weighs just under 2.5kg, minimising any strain on your arms and shoulders during use for an easy and comfortable hedge trimming experience each and every time.

This Hyundai hedge trimmer also features an efficient 550-series motor with a power storage function which increases battery life and offers improved performance.

The laser-cut sharpened steel 510mm / 20” cutting blade will slice through all types of hedging up to 16mm in diameter, providing a precise cut each and every time.

The HY2188 hedge trimmer’s rear handle can be rotated 180 degrees left or right so you can manage the hedge trimmer comfortably when working at different angles for an extra precise cut. This is especially handy for switching between cutting the sides and the tops of hedges.

This Hyundai HY2188 is so easy to use thanks to its conveniently positioned controls and cut-out switch all within easy reach of the handle. For additional safety, it also features a 2-stage safety switch to prevent accidental starting and a mechanical brake that immediately stops the blade.

With no cables, no petrol, and no pollution, the HY2188 cordless hedge pruner is powered by a 20V MAX lithium-ion 2Ah battery, which means no more messy fuel or dangerous mains cables for you to have to deal with - simply charge the battery and you’re ready to go.

With a charging time of just 70 minutes, the HY2188 makes maintaining your garden simple and is able to provide an average trimming time of 28 minutes (depending on the operating conditions) - plenty of time to get your shrubs and hedges looking neat and tidy all from one charge.
