This hedge cutter’s lightweight design means it weighs just under 2.5kg, minimising any strain on your arms and shoulders during use for an easy and comfortable hedge trimming experience each and every time.

The laser-cut sharpened steel 510mm / 20” cutting blade will slice through all types of hedging up to 16mm in diameter, providing a precise cut each and every time.

The HY2188 hedge trimmer’s rear handle can be rotated 180 degrees left or right so you can manage the hedge trimmer comfortably when working at different angles for an extra precise cut. This is especially handy for switching between cutting the sides and the tops of hedges.

This Hyundai HY2188 is so easy to use thanks to its conveniently positioned controls and cut-out switch all within easy reach of the handle. For additional safety, it also features a 2-stage safety switch to prevent accidental starting and a mechanical brake that immediately stops the blade.

Powered by a 2.5Ah 40V Samsung lithium-ion battery, the brushless motor offers similar performance to electric-powered and small petrol hedge trimmers powering the 520mm cutting blade, with the cutting teeth spaced out in 23mm intervals.
