Orec Bull HR531 52cm Petrol Flail Mower
Uncultivated land, road verges, undergrowth, brambles, sloping land and terraces are the normal operating conditions for the Orec Bull flail mower.
The HR531 walk-behind flail mower is a brush-mulching beast that can take down tall grass, weeds, brambles and even small saplings. Add to that 32 flail blades that chew up and mulch the brush, and you have an all-in-one brush mower and mulching machine. The Bull HR531 is easy to use, with a stress-free clutch turning system and easy to use blade height adjustment.
Featuring a 52cm (21") cutting width, the Orec Bull HR531 is super-tough. If the blades hit a rock or stump, the flails pivot and release shock which protects the splindle from damage. The flail blades rotate in an "up-cut" motion, thereby catching the whole plant at once. The machine also mulches material down while cutting. The cutting height is adjustable between 5cm and 11cm.
Powering the HR531 is a legendary Honda GX200 196cc four-stroke engine. Orec flail mowers with mechanical gearbox are all equipped with a three-speed forward and one-speed transmission in reverse, and are also equipped with differential lock.
The operator is protected from flying debris by the Bull mower's steel flap guards which help keep dangerous objects inside the cutter deck. Vertically-adjustable handles will optimise user comfort.
Year after year Orec flail mowers have earned an unrivalled reputation. All this thanks to their robustness and ability to brilliantly deal with clearing jobs on land infested with shrubs, thick vegetation and for light agricultural pruning of vineyards, olive groves and orchards.

SCH 48" Flail Mower
The FM48 heavy duty flail mower was been introduced to the range of SCH equipment to fulfill the need for a bigger unit for greater horsepower garden tractors (18hp and above). Its improved design means the height adjustable transport wheels are now mounted behind, instead of at the sides, for a close-to-edge cut.
The two main differences between SCH's small unit, the FM42 are firstly that it has a wider cut and secondly it has a centre positioned 13hp Honda engine with electric start. This increase in engine size can more than adequately cope with the increased cutting width.
The transport wheels situated at the rear of the machine are designed to be lifted out of use during operation which reduces the risk of tyre punctures when flailing thorny shrubs.
The 42 cutting flails are free-floating on a chain link to the rotor shaft. The safety of the operator is very much in mind when designing this type of machine. Full skirt guards are provided to stop the operator's feet accidentally being offered to the flail. An emergency stop pull cord is fitted as standard.
The one piece rear roller prevents scalping and the machine is fitted with a 50mm ball hitch as standard.
Suitable for towing behind 18hp+ lawn tractors, ATVs and quads, the tow bar has two operating positions, one in the centre of the machine and the other offset to one side where it is beneficial not to run on the standing growth before cutting.
Optional extras:
- Different hitch type (please specify when ordering)
- Diesel power unit

Weibang Velocity 68 TFP Tracked Flail Mower
The Weibang Velocity 68 TFP petrol tracked flail mower has the ability to reclaim any overgrown area thanks to the pivoting flail deck with 19 pairs of rotor-mounted Y-shaped blades to cut and mulch grass, weeds, brush and more.
Designed to complete commercial-duty clearing jobs quickly, the Velocity 68 TFP is a merciless flail mower powered by Weibang's 392cc X400 engine. The reason it is so easy to manoeuvre and control is partly due to the CVT, controlled variable transmission, designed by Weibang. As part of the hybrid power unit, the engine drives both the cutting unit and an internal generator which powers the two 800W motors. The machine features rear tracks for unrivalled traction over any terrain, each track is driven by an independent electric wheel motor for zero-turn performance.
Suitable for working areas up to 6,000 square metres, the machine can reach drive speeds of up to 3.8km/h and can operate comfortably on a working angle of up to 25 degrees. The tracked flail mower offers three ways of operation; either traditional walk-behind, standing on the rear foot plate or, optionally, retro-fitting a remote control. The optional remote control kit allows the machine to be controlled remotely by the operator where conditions do not allow an operator presence such as steep banks.
Featuring a wide 68cm (27") cutting width, the mower employs 38 Y-shaped, hardened steel flail blades, mounted on a flail rotor with commercial-grade bearings, which will scythe effortlessly through dense vegetation. The cutting height is infinitely variable via a screw lever adjuster between 10mm and 90mm.
Thanks to the rear tracks and lockable front castors, the wide stance and low centre of gravity, the Velocity 68 TFP is ideal for work on slopes and banks, and offers excellent manoeuvrability and traction on difficult terrain. The handles are fully height adjustable to suit the individual operator, and can also be offset from side to side to allow the user to cut along hedgerows while steering clear of uncut material. Protection comes in the form of the steel front debris guard which deflects debris away from the operator.
