Garden machinery from Cobra is constantly evolving and the new Mowbot is one of the first fully customisable robotic lawn mowers on the UK market.

As the mower will be a permanent feature in your garden, Mowbot recognised the need for it to be stylish and so came up with seven different designs to appeal to your own personal taste. There's a slick British racing green in flat and metallic finishes, bold metallic red or solid black. You can even ring the changes with different covers available in a camouflage design, a floral pattern or, for those wanting something more traditional and discreet, a carbon fibre effect.

The Cobra Mowbot 1200 in solid green has a durable polypropylene shell which is UV resistant. This model has an 18cm cutting width and a range of cutting heights from 20mm up to 60mm. Mowing little and often is the best way to achieve a strong, lush and green lawn finish. The Mowbot 12 shaves small amounts of grass on each pass, mulching the grass clippings into the swarth to release vital nutrients and moisture.

The Mowbot 1200 has a brushless motor which is battery-powered by a 3Ah 28V battery and will mow an entire lawn up to 1200 square metres in size quietly and effortlessly. Capable of mowing slopes up to 20 degrees, the Mowbot is the perfect mowing solution for almost any lawn.

Developed with convenience in mind, the Mowbot 1200 offers Bluetooth connectivity so you have control of the machine's mowing schedule and return-to-base settings from your smart phone or tablet. Other sophisticated features include automatic recharging and rain sensors as standard.

Supplied boxed for home installation, the Mowbot 1200 is supplied with an independent, waterproof charging station, 200 metres of periphery line and pegs. The installation process is simple; set up the electric parameters in which the Mowbot is to do its work by laying a thin wire around the edge of the lawn, then leave it to mow. When the job is done, the mower will return to its charging station ready and raring to go out again next time.

The HYRM1000 is a fully robotic ‘robo’ lawn mower from Hyundai. Fitted with a 22.2V lithium-ion rechargeable battery, the HYRM1000 automatically mows and recharges as and when you require. Supplied with a 100 metre boundary wire, the HYRM1000 is the ideal robotic lawn mower for small to medium to large lawns up to a maximum of 625 square metres.

Featuring artificial intelligence, the Hyundai robotic lawn mower navigates through your garden intelligently mowing in all types of garden terrains.

The Hyundai HYRM1000 robotic lawn mower is powered by a 50 watt brushless, long life motor. Brushless motors are maintenance-free and designed to offer many years of trouble-free use. Lower quality mowers use a less efficient and higher maintenance brushed motor.

With a cutting width of 180mm, the HYRM1000 is well suited for all garden shapes and sizes. Capable of mowing on uneven hilly surfaces, the HYRM1000 tackles uneven and sloped areas of up to 30%.

Self mulching, the Hyundai robot mower drops the fine grass clippings back into the lawn acting as a natural fertiliser for a healthier greener lawn, saving yourself the task of disposing of the grass cuttings common with a traditional lawn mower.

With seven cutting heights, ranging from 25mm for a smooth lawn to 55mm for cutting longer grass, the HYRM1000 puts you in control over the finish of your cut. The height is adjusted by a single position dial, allowing you to adjust height with ease.

The user friendly control panel allows you to program the lawn mower in four different mowing patterns: edge, spiral, zig-zag and random. You can also set the start point, so if you have two lawns joined by a narrow grass section, you could set the start point for mowing each section on different days. Once the robot has been installed and programmed it works independently and reliably from your chosen settings.

The mower is equipped with a variety of safety sensors including lift and bump. If the lawn mower is lifted or tilted the blade will stop automatically. Featuring a rain sensor, the HYRM1000 detects a change in precipitation and drives itself back to the docking station and waits for better weather. This option can be deactivated as the HYRM1000 is waterproof. The HYRM100 also features an emergency stop button and rear carry handle.

The robot lawn mower is protected with a PIN code and is protected against theft. If the robot is stolen from your garden, it cannot be started without the security pin.

Quick and easy to assemble out of the box simply, you simply need to mark out the boundary wire and program the mower. The HYRM1000 works independently, driving itself back to the recharging station when the battery becomes low, recharges itself and then continues mowing. You will never need to mower your lawn yourself again.

The GreenWorks Optimow 10 is a fully automated robotic lawn mower designed to expertly maintain lawns of up to 1,000 square metres. Installation is simple with everything you need included, simply peg down a perimeter wire and connect to the base station.

Once installed the Optimow will mow the lawn according to your pre-set schedule, charging itself when necessary. You have full control from anywhere with the GSM enabled App where you can monitor the machine as well as alter settings and schedules from anywhere in the world. The machine is preloaded with a sim card which can be topped up when required.

How does it work?
