Towed Lawn Aerators

This attachment is designed to break down the surface pan of the grass to improve drainage and air penetration to the roots. The aerator is ideal for autumn and early spring use.

The aerator's specially shaped tines pull at the ground on the way out, creating many small fractures to break down surface compaction.

With a working width of 915mm (36") and penetration depth up to 75mm (3"), the roller can be water ballasted to give the required penetration depth. The spikes are fully protected while in operation.

The carrier frame fitted with the heavy duty aerator is an ideal tool for autumn use breaking down the surface pan of grassed areas, improving drainage and allowing air penetration to the roots.  The two 25 litre ballast containers supplied with the carrying frame, when full, will provide added weight to help penetrate hard surfaces.  The transport wheels make transportation from the place of storage to the work area an easy operation.

The carrier frame (not included) fitted with the 48" aerator attachment is an ideal tool for early spring and autumn use breaking down the surface pan of grassed areas, improving drainage and allowing air penetration to the roots.

The three 25 litre tanks, when filled with water, provide ample weight to help penetrate hard surfaces.

This hollow tine corer attachment is compatible with the range of lawn care implements for the 40" (1020mm) system. and offers unrivalled assistance for fertiliser penetration. The HGHT, like the other attachments, fits easily into the carrier frame.

The discs are arranged in a staggered pattern to spread the strain on the attachment over an entire rotation. The hollow tines are easily replaceable when worn.

This hollow tine corer attachment has been added to the existing range of lawn care implements for the SCH 48" (1220mm) grass care system. The HG48, like the other attachments, fits easily into the carrier frame.

This mounted deep aerator attachment from SCH is an excellent drainage product on a sand racing track. Nine heavy duty aeration discs on 50mm stainless steel axle which comes with bearings and easily bolts onto the carrying frame.  The discs will penetrate up to 180mm (7") in suitable conditions.

The aerator's specially shaped tines pull at the ground on the way out, creating many small fractures to break down surface compaction. This is a very effective attachment for improving drainage, allowing air and nutrients to start their journey down to the roots.

This 60" hollow tine corer bolts onto the carrying frame in the same way as the aerator or slitter.  The revolving discs fitted with hollow spoon tines delve into the turf surface to remove, on average, a 75mm (3") core.  Removing cores from turfed areas allows air and water to have direct access to the root system; if lawn sand is applied, the core holes will fill with sand to give the maximum advantage to the root system. The rear roller is lifted out of work for this operation.

Towing Hooks
The majority of SCH attachments are fitted with a clevis hitch and are designed for a towing height of 10-14" (250-350mm).  Other couplings such as a ball hitch, swivel hitch or ring hitch can be fitted if required.
