Towed Lawn Aerators

The steel-framed THTPA40 has a working width of 40" and also has a steel weight tray with a 45.4kg capacity so deeper penetration can be achieved. The aerator's 24 replaceable hollow core tines will remove plugs of soil up to a maximum of 3" deep. When crossing hard surfaces which don't require aeration, the spools holding the tines can be raised using a single-hand lift lever.

Featuring a 102cm (40") working width and equipped with 10 aeration discs comprising 60 curved spikes, the Agri-Fab 45-0544 has an adjustable aeration depth up to 6.5cm which is achieved by stacking the weight tray with ballast. The spiked star-shape discs slice into the turf to allow valuable nutrients, fertiliser, air, water and light to penetrate down to the grass roots. The spikes can be raised to a transport position when moving from lawn to lawn.

Rolling on 18cm (7") semi-pneumatic tyres, the spike aerator has a transport position so you can move between jobs without the spikes being activated. Thanks to the universal hitch pin, the Agri-Fab 45-0544 aerator can be used in conjunction with all makes of lawn tractor. The tow bar folds for more compact storage.

The aerator's 32 replaceable hollow core tines will remove plugs of soil up to a maximum of 3" deep. When crossing hard surfaces which don't require aeration, the spools holding the tines can be raised using a single-hand lift lever.

The Agri-Fab 45-0299 plug aerator will remove ¾" diameter soil plugs from the lawn allowing compacted soil to loosen up in addition to the benefits provided by a spike aerator. Best used in spring or late autumn for easily compacted soil like clay, heavy traffic areas, and drought damaged lawns. Up to 80kg/176lbs of weight can be added to the weight trays.

Featuring a working width of 48", the Agri-Fab 45-0299 has 32 heat-treated pints, 4 per spool.  Of rugged construction, it has an aeration depth up to 3".  The aerator knives are galvanised for rustproof durability.  Transportation between working areas is aided by the metal spools being raised from the ground by a single cantilevered handle, which is accessible from the tractor seat. A recent improvement comes in the shape of run flat tyres which eliminates the chance of a puncture.

The tow-behind AET48 from Billy Goat offers the ultimate in productivity and flexibility when it comes to aeration of a larger property.

The standard 122cm (48") modular unit easily configures down to 61cm (24") and features interchangeable parts. Each AET48 unit is equipped with four tine stars with six tines each which core up to 8cm deep. The aerator can be configured up to 72" wide with the optional AET expansion kit.

Optional water weight containers eliminate bulky steel weights and are positioned directly over the tines for improved aeration depth.
