Masport Contractor 625 AL 3-in-1 Push Petrol Lawn Mower

Built with high-spec features from the ground up and designed for everyday use, the Contractor 625 AL is a professional model within Masport's extensive lawn mower line-up equipped with a top-end Briggs & Stratton ReadyStart® engine, an ultra-tough aluminium deck, 3-in-1 cutting option, low vibration handlebar and adjustable wheel bearings.

The mower has a wide 48cm (19") deck constructed from aluminium which combines light weight, durability and rust-resistance. It employs the Masport Quickcut™ blade system featuring swing tips at the ends of the blade designed to protect the crankshaft from damage should the blades hit a solid object. Quickcut™ blade technology reduces mowing time by around 15% and optimises performance in terms of both collection and mulching. 

Masport combo catch and mulch mowers are designed to have a special mulch plug inserted when mulching. This plug must be fitted correctly, snug and locked in with the main flap closed down on it. This plug seals off the rear discharge area so the high-arch chassis and special blades recut the clippings and feed them back into your lawn, saving on water, fertiliser and time emptying the catcher. The spacious 67 litre grass bag benefits from a dust cover top. A rear discharge chute is also included.

You can be sure to be ready for every eventuality in terms of grass and weather conditions with the centrally adjustable height of cut. Using a single lever, the cutting height can be set as low as 12mm right up to 70mm. Thanks to Masport's Dual Mowzone®, whereby the blade coverage extends beyond the wheel width on both sides, the mower can cut closer to walls, kerbs and fences, giving a sharper finish to the lawn right up to the edge. A handy deck wash port makes it easy to keep the underside of the mower clean.

The push-propelled Masport Contractor 625 AL is highly manoeuvrable, powered by a premium, easy-starting 163cc Briggs & Stratton 675 EXi OHV 4-stroke engine. The Zone start handlebar helps to reduce back strain when pulling on the recoil starter as it is located higher up on the handlebar. The low-vibration handlebar has PVC grip and OPC controls, comfortable upturned upper handle and cam locks for quick-release fold down.
