In celebration of its 10 year anniversary, Mitox has added this special edition petrol brush cutter to its range of quality, affordable garden machinery.

The entry-level Mitox 26L-SP Select is a exceptionally lightweight, yet powerful straight, split shaft petrol brush cutter designed for light/medium domestic use. It is supplied with a bump-feed nylon line head and 255mm three-tooth metal brush cutting blade for improved versatility. The Mitox 26L-SP Select is equipped with a loop handle which is specially designed for maximum versatility and user comfort. A single shoulder harness is also included.

As with all Mitox brush cutters, the Mitox 26L-SP Select utilises an efficient, reliable 25.4cc air-cooled two-stroke engine fitted with a transmission clutch which transmits power through a solid steel drive shaft to the high performance gearbox. A shoulder harness is supplied which is designed to reduce operator fatigue during prolonged periods of use. When the job is complete, the aluminium coupling featured on the split shaft system enables the 26L-SP to be simply separated into two for easy transport and storage.

All Mitox brush cutters are built to withstand tough challenges, with high quality heat-treated drive gears and 8mm solid steel drive shafts ensuring durability over extended periods and a long working life.

Designed to be simple and comfortable to use, the brush cutter features a straight shaft with six bearings, an anti-vibration loop handle and easy to use throttle controls, which are ergonomically designed for user comfort, as well as to stand the test of time.

The machine is employs a 27.2cc engine which runs on a petrol and two-stroke engine oil mix, and delivers increased power and lower emissions compared to the previous generation. A primer bulb and choke make starting both simple and reliable. Simply press the primer seven times, turn the choke on and pull the recoil. Once the engine fires, turn off the choke and pull the recoil again to start the engine. 

The 270LX Premium is equipped with an enhanced auto bump feed nylon line head and also comes with a heavy duty three-tooth metal brush cutter blade. From trimmer head specialists Tecomec, these rugged, hard wearing heads have been specifically developed to provide a simple, economical alternative to the conventional bump feed heads, featuring a metal bump feed knob for durability.
