Oleo-Mac Chainsaws & Pole Pruners

Italian manufacturer Oleo-Mac has introduced the new 'H' Series of entry-level chainsaws designed for domestic use. These models feature medium power to provide the perfect compromise of performance and economy for pruning tasks around the home and garden.

The larger of the two models is the GHS 560 which is powered by Emak's own 54.5cc 2-stroke engine. The “EasyStart” system ensures a smooth pick-up of the engine with a minimal number of pulls on the cord, with the addition of reduced kickback thanks to a double starter spring. The “primer” facilitates starting even in the harshest climates.

Equipped with an Oregon 50cm guide bar and .3/8" chain, the chainsaw's compactness, versatility and good power-to-weight ratio ensure excellent cutting performance for any use from limbing and pruning to cutting medium-sized trunks. A fully adjustable automatic oil pump cuts down on chain oil consumption and reduces the impact on the environment.

The Oleo-Mac GSH 560 is equipped with numerous safety features including anti kick-back protection and front hand guard. The anti-vibration system fully isolates the handles from the engine reducing operator fatigue. Weighing just 5.5kg (dry weight without cutting gear), the nickel plated cylinder ensures a longer working life, whilst the stable fuel-air mixture provides smooth operation.

Suitable for felling, limbing and bucking large trees, the GS 630 professional chainsaw is versatile, thanks to its high power and compatibility with guide bars 18-20" in length, without having to relinquish the benefits of low overall weight.

The Oleo-Mac GS 630 is equipped with a 51cm / 20" bar and chain and is powered by a 63.4cc, 3.5kW, 4.7hp two-stroke engine.

A digital coil, magnesium alloy crankcase and chain guard, automatic and adjustable aluminium oil pump, three-piece forged steel crankshaft and nickel-plated cylinder make this machine rugged and reliable.

At the same time, the primer and decompressor reduce the effort required for starting, while the nylon filter and the chain guard with a large discharge section allow for faster maintenance.

Finally, comfort is assured by an anti-vibration system with vibration dampers and an aluminium handle clad in soft rubber.

The Oleo-Mac GS 651 professional petrol chainsaw is powered by Emak's high performance 63.4cc engine and offers a solid build quality and superior handling that is essential to professional foresters. The engine features a multi-functional lever (choke/start/stop) which makes it easier to start and stop the motor. The decompression valve helps to reduce the pulling force required to get the engine started.

Equipped with a reinforced cylinder, a hardwearing two-ring piston and an aluminium crank case, the GS 650 can cope with the rigours of all day / every day use. It has an anti-vibration system with four rubber stops and two spring dampers so the operator's hands and arms will be exposed to minimal shock when in use. The chainsaw also has a side chain tensioner that ensures the operator will not make contact with the chain when making adjustments. The Oleo-Mac GS 651 is also equipped with an automatic chain oiler which ensures the long life of the cutting gear and provides a smooth cut. The air filter has an extra large surface area so working in dry and dusty conditions will not be problematic.
