Description

Uncultivated land, road verges, undergrowth, brambles, sloping land and terraces are the normal operating conditions for the Orec Bull flail mower.

The HRC673 walk-behind, tracked flail mower is a brush-mulching beast that can take down tall grass, weeds, brambles and even small saplings. Add to that 38 flail blades that chew up and mulch the brush, and you have an all-in-one brush mower and mulching machine. The Bull HRC673 is easy to use, with a stress-free clutch turning system and easy to use blade height adjustment. The cutting height is adjustable between 5cm and 11cm.

Featuring a compact 65cm (26") cutting width, the Orec Bull HRC673 is super-tough. The oscillation of the knives prevents damage to the machine when it accidentally comes in contact with obstacles such as stones, rocks or particularly resistant materials. The flail blades rotate in an "up-cut" motion, thereby catching the whole plant at once. The machine also mulches material down while cutting.

Driving the HRC673 is a high performance Honda GX270 270cc four-stroke OHV engine. The HIE (High Inclination Engine) inherits all the proven technology of Honda GX engines with the addition of specific features developed specifically to improve its effectiveness when operating on slopes. This allows you to work on inclines exceeding 25 degrees without a drop in power and performance. Orec flail mowers with mechanical gearbox are all equipped with a three-speed forward and one-speed transmission in reverse.

The Orec HRC series flail mowers have a tracked advancement unit at the rear, with steering clutches which allow one of the tracks to be locked, thus ensuring simple and safe steering. In the case of steep slopes, it is possible to apply the frame lock directly from the handlebar to avoid oscillation of the cutting deck and maximise traction to keep the machine firmly on the ground.

The operator is protected from flying debris by the Bull mower's steel flap guards which help keep dangerous objects inside the cutter deck. The handle can be adjusted vertically and horizontally with one lever.

Additional protection To allow the machine to last longer over time and during use, Orec has added these details to all flail mowers. ENGINE PROTECTION The grill located in front of the engine air intake protects it from impurities, debris and dust. MUFFLER PROTECTION The muffler protection grill protects the operator from accidental contact and impacts.
	Orec transmission – maximum efficiency at reduced costs The transmission is a fundamental part of a machine and its good design and construction makes Orec machines more professional. For this reason, to give maximum quality, Orec designs and builds its own transmissions in-house. The Orec flail mowers with mechanical gearbox are all equipped with a 3-speed forward and 1-speed transmission in reverse, and are also equipped with differential lock. The particular reliability of these transmissions, designed for heavy-duty work, avoids breakages or expensive maintenance interventions and allows them to last a long time.

	SBT Frame Locking System In the case of steep slopes it is possible to apply frame lock which can be operated directly from the handlebar to avoid oscillations of the cutting unit and provide maximum grip and stability.

	High level control cables As standard equipment, the control cables of all Orec flail mowers are lubricatable and adjustable. They give softness to the levers and delicacy in the maneuver and guarantee longer duration of use in dusty conditions.
Handlebar and controls The solid handlebar is made up of all metal details to allow greater durability over time. The steering levers are particularly ergonomic, can be gripped and operated without effort. By operating a special lever, on the HR662 it is possible to adjut the handles both vertically and horizontally. SFA System – Automatic Braking System All Orec transmissions are equipped with a brake that blocks the machine on slopes, guaranteeing working safety for the operator. The brake is activated automatically when the forward control is released.
	High resistance belts Orec only uses straps made in Japan. They are specific belts for agricultural machines with reverse curvature transmission and belt tensioner pulleys. The reduced thickness and optimised position of the tension elements increase the service life many times compared to conventional V-belts. Main features: temperature resistance from -30°C to +90°C; antistatic properties; oil resistance; high fire resistance; particular resistance to environmental influences such as heat, ozone, sunlight and the effects of weather.
