Description

Designed and manufacturered in Japan, the Orec FL500BC is a universal, easy-to-use and comfortable rotary field and brush mower for commercial use. The machine, with its working width of 50cm (20"), is suitable for very precise mowing of tall grass, including dry, laid grass, clearing meadows, mowing grass in orchards, vineyards, forest nurseries, on roadside verges or in ditches.

The FL500BC is a stable and solid machine built for intensive use for many years. The durable structure of the tubular steel frame ensures extended life of the machine but, above all, it prevents the mower from turning in extreme conditions, which affects the comfort of use and work efficiency.

The Orec FL500BC is equipped with an aluminum gearbox with three forward gears and one reverse gear enabling efficient manoeuvring of the mower. The differential lock, combined with rear wheels with a large tread area, ensure safe grip of the machine to the ground, especially on uneven and steep terrain.

Powered by a 163cc Honda GXV160 four-stroke OHV engine, the mower's cutting height can be easily and infinitely adjusted between 20mm and 80mm via a screw lever.

The comfort of work and accessible mowing area is enhanced by the ability to adjust the handlebar to a comfortable working position in given conditions by means of height and side adjustment.

	Orec transmission - maximum efficiency at reduced costs The transmission is a fundamental part of a motor vehicle and makes it more or less professional. For this reason, to give maximum quality, Orec designs and builds its own transmissions in-house. The Orec FL500BC is equipped with a mechanical transmission with three forward speeds and one reverse speed, and is also equipped with differential lock. The particular reliability of these transmissions, designed for heavy-duty work, avoids breakages or expensive maintenance interventions and allows them to last a long time.
Oversized wheels The large rear steel wheels ensure grip on all types of terrain and, if you need more traction, simply operate the rear wheel lock control to have grip even on slopes.
	Control panel The FL500BC has all the necessary controls located on the handlebars. It is equipped with a mechanical transmission with three forward gears and one reverse gear with differential lock to ensure optimal progress even on irregular terrain and slopes.

The machine is cable tied to a pallet and shrink-wrapped into a cocoon. Our transport partner will then deliver the machine on a tail-lift lorry on an agreed working weekday. You simply unwrap the pallet, cut the cable ties and you're ready to mow.
