The Handy THLC29140 12" Compactor Plate / Wacker Plate
This compact and lightweight wacker plate from The Handy is offered at a value for money price and is suitable for a variety of soil and asphalt compaction applications.
The Handy THLC29140 is driven by a 2.8hp 87cc Loncin four-stroke OHV engine with recoil start. The large 1.6 litre fuel tank will provide up to 1.5 hours of run time at a travelling speed of 25m/min. The 12" wide plate, which measures 495mm x 320mm, reaches an exciter speed of 5500vpm, which applies a compaction force of 861kg to flatten up to a depth of 20cm.
Weighing 55kg and capable of working on a 20 degree gradient, The Handy THLC29140 compactor plate can be used for compressing confined areas of granular soil and gravel in narrow trenches, interlocking blocks, footpath construction and maintenance, trenches and pipelines, sportsgrounds, landscaping and groundwork engineering.

The Handy THLC29142 14" Compactor Plate / Wacker Plate
This compact, lightweight and robust compactor plate from The Handy is offered at a value for money price and is suitable for a variety of soil and asphalt compaction applications.
The Handy THLC29142 is driven by a powerful 5.5hp 163cc Loncin four-stroke OHV engine with recoil start. The large 3 litre fuel tank will provide up to 3 hours of run time at a travelling speed of 25m/min. The plate, which measures 530mm x 370mm, reaches an exciter speed of 5500vpm, which applies a centrifugal force of 11KN to compress up to a depth of 25cm.
Weighing 65kg and capable of working on a 20 degree gradient, The Handy THLC29142 wacker plate can be used for flattening confined areas of granular soil and gravel in narrow trenches, interlocking blocks, footpath construction and maintenance, trenches and pipelines, sports pitches, landscaping and groundwork engineering.
