WOLF-Garten 'Comfort Plus' Anvil Secateurs
The WOLF-Garten 'Comfort Plus' anvil secateurs are ideal for tough, woody and general pruning.
Anvil blades help to reduce the strain on the wrist when cutting older, thicker stems. The blade closes against a softer metal on the lower jaw which avoids unnecessary stress on the hand. This does not produce such a clean cut as bypass secateurs, but this is not so important on older growth.
These pruners have ergonomically designed handles which have an integrated thumb rest for safety and are ideal for a medium sized hand. They have an internal spring mechanism and an easy to use locking mechanism. The PTFE blades have a non-stick coating and can cut through stems up to 25mm thick.
These secateurs are suitable for both left and right handed use.

WOLF-Garten 'Premium Plus' Anvil Secateurs
The WOLF-Garten 'Comfort Plus' bypass secateurs are ideal for delicate and precise pruning, designed for those with plenty of cutting jobs to do.
Bypass blades work on a scissor-like cutting action with one blade ‘bypassing’ the other. The blades can cut through stems up to 22mm thick and the upper blade is fully replaceable.The secateurs feature comfortable power transfer, precision-ground non-stick blades and adjustable blade pre-tension.
The ergonomic handle with the soft insert on the top acts together with the sliding lower handle and the easy-on-the-wrist 30 degrees cutting angle for perfect handling.
Best used on younger growth as they provide a very clean cut, essential for maintaining a healthy plant or shrub, these robust pruners are suitable for regular use and ideal for a larger sized hand, whether left or right handed.
