The RX177 is the ultimate wood chipper in Rock Machinery's PTO range featuring a revolutionary hydraulic system.
The Rock RX177 comes with its own self-contained pump and hydraulic tank which means you don't need to rely on your tractor's hydraulics to use the self-feeding rollers. Simply fill up the hydraulic tank, connect the PTO and the chipper will do the rest.
The upgraded feed controls have easy to use forward and reverse positions with an emergency stop on each direction. Dual, self-contained hydraulic feeders with adjustable speed settings pull those branches in and turn them into chips in no time. The self-feed hopper is designed to angle the brush against the rotor and blades, pulling the branches into the chipper. As the brush is fed into the chipper, you can be ready with the next piece.
At the heart of the R Series chippers is an oversized heavy-duty rotor and reversible chipping blades. The large diameter rotor has a faster tip speed for improved chipping action and the heavy-gauge steel keeps your momentum to power through 7” diameter branches. The reversible blades are precision cut tool steel and hardened, keeping a sharp cutting edge and maximising the performance of the chipper. Chipping becomes effortless when you let the rotating teeth do all the work.
You can easily control where you want the chips with the double adjustable exit chute. The chute swivels 360 degrees and the top deflector adjusts the distance.
Attaching the RX177 to the tractor couldn’t be easier as it simply connects using a CAT 2, 3-point linkage. Your tractor requires 40-50hp for this chipper. For jobs big and small, estates, golf courses or farms, Rock Machinery has the Venom R Series chipper for you.
Please be aware that this chipper is NOT suitable for small branches / garden waste. This chipper is designed to cope with larger branches with a minimum diameter of approximately 3".
