SCH 1220mm (48") Grass Care System

This useful storage stand keeps your SCH attachments safely in one place.  The attachments with protruding profiles are kept in such a way to minimise unwanted contact with them.

The SCH 48" lute is a useful tool for levelling soil areas prior to seeding. The lute will level and freshen up sand menages leaving a smooth level surface. The lute may also be used on gravel and shingle paths and drives, or to level mole hills on the lawn.

Simply lower the jack lets to easily transport the levelling lute to and from the storage area.

Important: This attachment must be used in conjunction with either the SCH 48" Heavy Duty Carrier Frame Towed (Ref: F48(T)) or Mounted (Ref: F48(M)) which can be purchased separately (see accessories below).

The carrier frame (not included) fitted with the 48" aerator attachment is an ideal tool for early spring and autumn use breaking down the surface pan of grassed areas, improving drainage and allowing air penetration to the roots.

The aerator's specially shaped tines pull at the ground on the way out, creating many small fractures to break down surface compaction. The aerator stars are welded in a staggered pattern to maximise penetration depth and ground coverage.

The three 25 litre tanks, when filled with water, provide ample weight to help penetrate hard surfaces.

The carrier frame fitted with the slitter attachment is an ideal tool to improve drainage and stimulate root growth to grassed areas, especially in late spring and wet summers. Well drained areas will help towards the prevention of moss.

The slitter stars are designed to slice cleanly into the ground. Springs between the slitter stars protect them from damage.

The three 25 litre ballast containers supplied with the frame, when full, will provide ample weight to drive the slitter blades into the ground.

The carrier frame fitted with the roller attachment is an ideal tool to "firm up" grassed areas in the spring before the heavy growth period. It will also leave attractive, long-lasting stripes across the lawn/pitch.

The roller weighs 150kg when ballasted with water. Simply add top-weight to the carrying frame for a firmer finish.

The roller edges are curved which prevents the roller from cutting into the grass.

The carrier frame fitted with the 48" dethatcher, comprises of four rows of staggered shock coiled tines which will tease out heavily matted grass and encourage tillering during the growing season. The D48 can also be used to freshen up gravel driveways, paths and horse arenas.

The three 25 litre ballast containers supplied with the carrier frame, can be used for extra weight if required.

Please note: To avoid damage during transit, the tines are supplied loose, and SCH fit only one tine as an example of how to do this.

The SCH 48" brush attachment will brush into lawns top dressing and lawn sand. It will put those much-admired stripes into the lawn. It can also be used on artificial playing surfaces to leave an enviable finish.

The attachment features two rows of stiff brushes.The bristles are mounted in a solid wooden block for durability.

The frame consists of two transport and depth control wheels which are adjusted by winding down jacklegs. The wheels are pneumatic wide profile with bearings. The frame has a weight tray and is supplied with three 25 litre water fillable ballast tanks. The towed carrier frame has an adjustable tow bar to accommodate most garden tractors draw bar heights.

This attachment has been designed to rejuvenate and level most types of surfaces. The unit consists of one row of spring tines, which tease through the surface which break up the top surface pan. The following level bars level the surface.

The rear horizontal bars are so designed that the wheel marks from the integral height adjusting wheels are removed. the wheels can be trailed on the surface to reduce drag and allow for light/faster finishing of the surface.

The mounted frame can be lifted at row ends for easier turning.
