Handy was founded in 1938 by Geoffrey Handy in Old Town Swindon as a specialist Garden Machinery Dealer.  Since then, Handys has grown significantly and now supplies a full range of affordable garden machinery solutions to many retail partners across the UK and Norther Ireland. The Handy brand today resides as one of the key brands in Handy Distributions portfolio and has been growing in strength through decades of industry experience thus ensuring they only bring to market well-engineered, robust products that can really do the job in hand……at affordable prices of course! 

The Handy believes that everyone should be able to have access to the right equipment to keep a well-maintained garden and this is what the Handy brand strives to deliver.  The company believes that gardening should be a pleasurable and relaxing pastime, not a chore, and the right machines are essential for making light work of your gardening tasks. Today The Handy remains a family owned business with family values to match and employs over 80 staff operating out of two warehouse locations in Swindon.
