Loosen compacted soils and allow more efficient air and moisture penetration with this towed plug-type lawn aerator from The Handy.
The steel-framed THTPA48 has a wide working width of 48" (122cm) and also has a steel weight tray with a 63.5kg capacity so deeper penetration can be achieved. The aerator's 32 replaceable hollow core tines will remove plugs of soil up to a maximum of 3" deep. When crossing hard surfaces which don't require aeration, the spools holding the tines can be raised using a single-hand lift lever.
The Handy 48" lawn aerator features a pair of 10" pneumatic tyres which improve manoevrability and is fitted with a drawbar and universal hitch pin suitable for towing the unit behind most makes of lawn tractor.
