If you are looking to achieve an immaculately manicured lawn with a bowling green finish, then there is a Masport cylinder mower for you. Masport has had several decades of manufacturing experience with cylinder mowers and it is with this experience and today's technology that Masport brings you the latest in precision cutting performance.
The self-propelled Olympic 660 has the widest cut in Masport's impressive line-up of cylinder mowers powered by a reliable, recoil start 163cc Briggs and Stratton engine and featuring a considerable 66cm (26") cutting width.
The mower employs a six-blade cutting reel to cut the grass akin to a sharp pair of scissors as it rotates at a rate of 112 cuts per metre. This gives you an enviable lawn finish and a close cut down as low as 7mm. It's a combination of this cutting action and the front and rear rollers that will leave your lawn with a sought after "Wimbledon stripe" effect.
The Masport Olympic 660 is equipped with a multi-section front roller and full width, steel split-differential rear roller which adds manoeuvrability and reduces the liklihood of scalping the lawn. The centrifugal clutch enables you to disengage the cutting cylinder with the engine running when moving between mowing areas.
Adjusting the height on the Masport cylinder mower is done by simply turning the adjuster on the front of the machine. As you turn the adjuster, the mower will rise and fall to a position that suits your lawn. Masport has provided a handy pointer which helps indicate the height location between 7mm and 30mm. The cut grass is propelled forward into the large 82 litre plastic grass collector.
For larger lawns, the Olympic 660 offers optimal mowing care and maintenance with nothing short of an absolutely professional finish, all at a superb price point.

ABOUT MASPORT.....
Benefits of owning a Masport rotary mower
Masport mowers have been designed to meet the demands of the toughest of lawns. The climate in New Zealand can be warm and wet…not to dissimilar to British weather conditions, and as such Masport are very much in tune with consumer’s needs. Damp and lush grass growth brings out the best in Masport rotary mowers. Aided by a wide ‘rear ejection’ channel to ease the flow of cut grass into the catcher, Masport rotary mowers remain industry leaders in performance.
Many of the models are fitted with ‘Smart Chutes’ allowing you to easily switch from collecting to side or rear discharge. You can mulch with many of them also. ‘Quickcut’, Bar Blade or Cylinder cutting systems give you a varied range, and versatility you come to expect from an industry leader.
You demand high performance to suit your lifestyle and budget. Masport delivers.
